Product Update
It has recently come to light that the colorant used in black plastics poses challenges during the recycling separation process. To address this, we’re proactively eliminating carbon black colorant from our products, and we’ll be implementing this change across our entire product line. Our goal is to have all new production converted to neutral /red color taps from the current black/red color taps by December 31, 2026.
Notably, several municipalities have recently been exploring measures to eliminate carbon black in certain products.
Here’s how this change will affect your orders:
- When placing an order for a custom print pouch, we will ask if you would like either a black tap or a neutral tap.
- Orders placed on Astrapouch.com and for in-stock items will be fulfilled with neutral color taps as they are rolled out.
